Two key pillars guide our work in the MIT Systems Awareness Lab:
We are working collaboratively to develop research methodologies to study the conditions of what we call "generative social fields," mapping the influential behaviors, perceptions, mindsets and structures that enable or disable systems change across large-scale systems of education from school districts to state-wide departments of education.
We bring communities of researchers and practitioners in conversation on best practicese and for developing a shared langauge in understanding systems change.
